William A Griffith

William 'Bill' Griffith, 97, of Manasquan passed away on Friday, December 30th, 2022. Bill was born and raised in Freehold, NJ. He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. Bill met and married his loving wife, Eulalia, at Manasquan Beach, the town where he married and resided until his passing. Bill retired from Earle Naval Weapons Station in Colts Neck, NJ in 1990.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Adna Griffith, a brother, Richard and his beloved wife of 67 years, Eulalia. He is survived by his loving children, Richard Griffith and his wife Alyson of Manasquan, Ann DeAlessi and her husband Thomas of Brick, and Daniel Griffith of Manasquan. Bill was the cherished grandfather to DJ and his wife Tammy, Sarah, Matthew, Tommy, Haley, and Austin; and great-grandfather to Sadie, Brayden, Athena, and Atlas.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, January 6th, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at St Denis Church, Manasquan, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30. Interment to follow at St Catharine's Cemetery, Sea Girt. Arrangements are under the care of Orender Family Home for Funerals, Manasquan.
