William Michael "Mike" Grim

William Michael Grim (1951-2023) was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduated from Collinsville High School, and retired from American Airlines. He grew up traveling extensively across the U.S. as a pipeliner's son. His wanderlust and connection to nature spurred his desire to hunt and fish along the Caney River as a young boy and later to venture to the mountains of Montana and the deserts of Arizona. He was also a certified Miner, finding joy in his discoveries. Weekly, he and his beloved dog Harley could be found at a local truck stop for eats and conversation.
Mike is now on the greatest journey of his life into the wild beyond with his dog Harley still with him.
He is survived by Marie Wintermater, children William Micheal Grim, Tyler Dean Grim, and Laura Rae. There are three grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Katherine Grim St. John of Kansas and her son.
A party to celebrate Mike's life will be held at a later date.
