William Ray Haddix, a cherished figure known for his kindness and skilled craftsmanship, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in Berea, KY, at the age of 64. Born on January 1, 1961, in Wolfe County, KY, to the late Silas Haddix and Mattie (Fouch) Baugh, William came into this world sharing his joy and love with all who crossed his path.

A man of strength and integrity, William was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dora Haddix, and is survived by a family that adored him. His memory will be treasured by his devoted children, Michael (Heather) Haddix and Melissa Haddix, as well as his precious grandchildren, Katelyn, Karlee, Abigail, and Christin. His legacy will live on through each of them.

Among his siblings, William will be fondly remembered by his brother, Nelson Haddix, and sister, Maude Noble. Although he was predeceased by his siblings Ollie James Haddix, Daniel Haddix, John Henry Baugh, Silas "Junebug" Haddix Jr., Dorothy Bryant, Lizabe Turner, Evie Mae Haddix, and Brenda Noble, his memory will be held dear by the many nieces and nephews who respected and loved their Uncle William.

William cultivated a life that was full of passion. He had an unmatched talent for woodworking, creating beautiful pieces that were both functional and artistic – his legacy etched in the grain of every work. His dogs were not just pets; they were his loyal companions, sharing in his daily joys and comforting him with their unwavering presence.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5-7pm at Great Commission Church on Mt Vernon Rd. in Berea.
