Jim Hansen passed away at his home on September 20, 2025, Jim is preceded in death by both parents Harold and Marie Hansen, daughter Renee Tillery, son Danny Tincher and grandson Silas Boggs, siblings, his twin brother, Richard Hansen, Jeneanve Keel, Fredrick Hansen and two son-in-laws, Nathan Johnson and Jonathan Underwood.

Jim is survived by his wife Jo Hansen and his daughter, Susan Robinson of Berea, Kentucky; daughters Julie Johnson of Berea, KY and Carrie Underwood of Stanford, KY, sons, Charles Shelton of Springfield, KY, David Tincher of Mckee, KY and Donnie Tincher of Wingo, KY. He was a loving papaw to 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Carey (Ronald) Gabbard of Paint Lick, KY, and one brother, Kenneth Hansen of St. Augustine, FL.

He devoted his life to the Lord as either a minister or evangelist, and missionary. He was also known for his Christian radio broadcasts. He was a member of the ministerial association (FGMAA). Jim was also an accomplished communication cabling engineer (RCDD). Above all, he was a wonderful husband, father, papaw, friend, and teacher.

Funeral services will be 1pm, Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Owen Moody and Rev. Travis Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Tal Martin Cemetery in Jackson County. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home.

His pallbearers are grandsons- TJ Issacs, Luis Quiles, Anthony Tillery, Nicholas Johnson, nephews Ronnie Lynch and Chad Lynch

Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Strong, Danny Potter, and Michael Johnson.
