William Cleve Haley 95 was born October 25,1928 in Warren County Kentucky. He passed away Monday August 19,2024 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by: Margaret Louise Fox Haley his wife. His parents Grover Cleve Haley and Hattie Mae Price Haley. Siblings Ernest Haley, Joseph Tom Haley, and Millie Haley Johnson.
He is survived by his sister Ruby Cole, his children Dwight (Kathy) Haley, Debbie Haley Rector (Winfred), Teresa Haley (Tooter). His Grandson Craig Rector (Laura), and great-grandchildren Caelan Fox, Ella Rector, and Ali Fox. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a life long friend and fishing buddy Chuck Phillips.
He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He spent a large amount of that time stationed in Italy. Upon returning home he married his sweetheart Margaret they had been married over 60 years before she passed away.
He attended school where he learned to repair office equipment. His schooling lead to a lifetime of enjoyment repairing and tinkering with different things.
He loved tending to his garden and nurturing his plants. He also acquired many feral cats, although he wouldn't admit it to many people he loved them all dearly. He also enjoyed going to a good yard sale with his friends.
Among the many things he enjoyed he was best known for his fishing. He was a fisherman among fisherman.
He was a great father whom dearly loved his family and the Lord. He had a trademark smile and laugh he was never without. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
