I had the privilege to work with him many years ago. Though a tough cookie, he was the consummate professional. In my 30 years in the Radiology / Cardiology field I remember him as one the most disciplined people I have ever met. William was able to blend in humor whenever possible and did enjoy having a laugh. Learned a lot from him as well. Am honored to have gotten to know this good soul.

Russ always enjoyed his lunches with JR at Sugar Mill. I can remember going to the door and opening it and JR was standing there with dessert for Russ and I from Sugar Mill. He and Russ shared the same disease--I am so sorry.

Part of the world has gone with him. I dont think i have ever known anyone who was such a great guy. He was bold, outspoken, and so funny. So of the funny things he told me i will never forget. What a light he was. What i really want to say is that he had such confidence and power, and so goofy and light at the same time. Very decisive. And really i dont think i have ever known of anyone who i feel has take a part of the world away when he left; i mean such an impact he had on me, the best role model i have known.

Always enjoyed talking to JR. He always had a joke to share and great stories tell.
