William Perry Hammond Jr.

I was a friend of Bill. I truly loved his quick whit and extensive stories. I enjoyed getting together for dinner parties, chatting to him while he racked the many leaves on his lawn and joining Paula and Bill for a lemonade in the shade of his trees on her settee on her lawn. Bill, Paula and I celebrated birthdays together. I will deeply miss his friendship.

I have known Bill for many years. I can say he was the kindest, most gentle person I know.
I am so sorry for the Hammond families loss.

Bill was my next door neighbor for the last 18 years. He was a close friend we had lemonade or coffee out on the front lawn and Bbq on my deck. He love going out for a meal and celebrating birthdays together ( we´re both a week apart). I too spoke with Bill also Sunday and was happy to hear more of his journey to improve his medical condition. At times we prayed together for his health. He was such a supportive, dear guy who always talked lovingly of his family! He helped me when I had several surgeries with rides/ groceries. I told him turn about was fair play! Could I help him in some way?I will miss his kind words and support... Bill my heart misses you and I thank you for our friendship. My deepest sympathy to your family.
