Funeral services for Mr. Don Hampton, age 75, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2023, in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. His celebration of life will be officiated by Bro. Johnny McCartney. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Hampton, a retired farmer, was born on April 4, 1948, in Gibson County and passed away on January 31, 2024, at Diversicare in Martin, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Mae Dowland Hampton; two brothers, Landon and Kenny Hampton; and one sister, June Clark.
He is survived by his wife, DeAnna Hampton of Bradford; two sisters, Patsy Sellers of Bradford and Evaline Foren of Dyersburg; one sister-in-law, Ruby Hampton of Bradford; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Pallbearers: Blake Green, Easten Green, Tyler Arrington, Mark Hampton, Gentry Hampton, and Grant Hampton.
Honorary Pallbearers: Tom Morgan, Russel Fultz, Ethan Green, Joe Fultz, and Robert Dowland.
