William Hand Obituary
Mr. William Kevin Hand, 24, of 132 Ellis Rd. died Saturday October 15th in a motorcycle accident. Born in Franklin County, Ohio on April 17, 1981, he was a son of William Bryan Hand of Columbus, Ohio and Debra Collins Warren of Statesville. He was an independent metal building contractor working recently for Betco and enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on old cars, cooking and being with family and friends. Survivors in addition to his parents include a son, Zander Jay Hand of Hiddenite, his Paternal Grandmother, Mrs. Wanda Ruth Willis of Columbus,Ohio, two brothers, Matthew Dale Hand and Mark Lewis Collins, II. both of Statesville and two sisters, Melissa Sue Hand of Union Grove and Teresa Hand of Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 Thursday at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Mason officiating. Pallbearers will be: Wayne Sherrill, Richie Green, Mike Zimmerman, Chris Reavis, Tim England and David Moose. Burial will follow in Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent on-line to the family at www.legacy.com.Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
