William Harbison Obituary

William Harbison

William Herbert "Bill" Harbison passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 1, 2025. He was born on June 15, 1940, in Ducktown, Tennessee. His family moved to Atlanta when he was 2 months old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, K.C. "Claude" Harbison Sr. and Juanita Zora Wilson Harbison; his brother, Ken; and his two sons, Alex and Dan.

He is survived by his brother, Brent (Bonita); granddaughter, Skylar; great-grandson, Griffin; grandson, Hunter Williams; nephew, Randee (Tami); great-nieces, Falcon and Niki; former wife, Cathy; and his dear friends and caregivers, Mike and Nancy O'Connor.

Bill worked in the insurance industry in Atlanta for 30 years. He and Cathy moved to Brunswick in 1994. He was a manager at JP's Wines & Spirits for several years until he retired in 2012.

Bill was a Mason and Scottish Rite member for many years. He made friends easily and was loved by many. He was affectionately called Mr. Bill. He will be missed by all who knew him.

It was his request to be cremated and for no services to be held. Rest in peace, until we meet again.

Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to have served Mr. Harbison.
