I met Bill many years ago at a Pittsburgh Ski Club dance. He knew my kids, Paul and Pam from school and from time to time he would pop in when he was in the neighborhood.
One of his pleasures in life was meeting buddies every morning at McDonald's on Mt. Lebanon Blvd. until the new McDonald's was built on West Liberty Ave. and then they all met there for years.
Tennis was very important to my son, Paul (and still is) and he played tennis with Bill on occasion.
I visited Bill at Harbour a few times and was sorry to learn yesterday that he had passed away. I offered my Mass today for him and he always remain on my prayer list.
Rest in Peace Bill.
Pat
