William Wade Heath passed away January 1, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 11am, Saturday, January 10, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lorena Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Friday, January 9, at the funeral home. He was born September 7, 1961, to Robert and Glenda (Grant) Heath.

Wade had a lifelong love of sports. In his younger years, he played shortstop, which carried on his love for sports throughout his life. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed playing golf and in his latter years, he worked at the Lake Waco Golf Club. In the 90's, Wade worked for the City of Waco Parks and Recreation Department, maintaining the fields and ball parks, keeping them in pristine condition.  He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working on various things. He loved to fish, hunt and being outside. He was a bit of an outdoorsman and the life of the party. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Glenda; family friends, Tim and Peggy Hunt, Keith Davis, and Mike Nix. 

He is survived by his children, Anthony, Nick, Christina, Chris and his wife Gabriella, and Little Wade; brother, Blake; sister, Laurinda and husband James, grandchildren, Jonathan, Aliya, Hallie, Harmony, Braedyn, Cherish, Brynlee, Tionna, Audryna, Kaylee, Santos, Steven and Haven; great-grandson, Akerrion; the mother of his children, Sandy, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
