William Heil Obituary
He was born on May 12, 1936 in Madison, IL to William Nicholas Heil, Sr and Marcella Sunshine (nee: Green) Heil.
William married Gloria Simmons in Las Vegas, NV in 1991. She preceded him in death in 2015.
The loving father and grandfather retired from the maintenance department of the Granite City School District after 20 years of service. He was an avid fisherman. William was good at doing "hands on" types of things. He was also good at carpentry and even built his own patio.
William is survived by 3 daughters: Barbara (Marvin) Frey of Liberty Lake, WA, Donna (Michael) Crow of Savillasville, MD and Debbie Mangold of TX; a son , Daniel (Theresa) Heil of O'Fallon, IL; 5 grandchildren: Elizabeth Jones, Anna Willis, Nicholas Fisher, Daniel Heil and Natalie Heil; 7 great grandchildren: Cameron Heil, Brooklyn Heil, Zella Rhoads, Grace Jones, Lilian Willis, Maverick Willis and Savannah Willis and a brother, David Heil.
William is preceded in death by his wife and parents.
