William M. Hennig passed away at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Diana nee Stopka. Devoted father of Heather M., Christie L. (Demetrios) Stavropoulos, Ann N. and Kate M. (Benjamin R. Brummit). Previously married to Mary, nee Bertuca, Hennig. Step-father of William (Felicia) Jelonek and Douglas Jelonek. Guardian of Sharon and Ella Murray. Loving son of Lola nee Myren and the late William E. Hennig. Fond grandfather of Andrea M., Nicholas C. and Dominick William. Dear Brother of Marilyn Swanke, Alan (Donna), Lola (Dennis) Hillderbrand. Dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Bill was a member of Local 150 Operating Engineers Union, and retired from Midwest Operating Engineers in 2009. Funeral Thursday, Feb. 7th, 9AM from Russo's Hillside Chapels, 4500 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL 60162 (Between Mannheim and Wolf Road) to Divine Providence Church, 2550 Mayfair Avenue, Westchester, Mass 10AM. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery, 520 E. Grand Avenue, Elmhurst. Visitation Wednesday, Feb. 6th from 3-9PM. For additional info (708) 449-5300.
