William Charles "Butch" Herman

 

William Charles “Butch” Herman, 81, of Desha, Arkansas departed this life on
Friday, May 26, 2023 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He
was born in Diaz, Arkansas on November 9, 1941 to Charles and Bertha Nash
Herman. He was of the Baptist faith, a Vietnam veteran serving in the United
States Army. After retiring in California, he worked in the Sporting Goods Department
at Walmart. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and going to the Batesville Hunting Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Gary Herman and four sisters:
Mary Lee VanHorn, Willene Tittle, Barbara Couey and Evelyn Griggs.

Butch is survived by his wife: Mary Nell Couey Herman of Desha, Arkansas, two
sisters: Karen Johnson of Caraway, Arkansas and Sandra Laden of Lepanto, Arkansas. Several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The family will
receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Interment will follow at Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
