Bill was truly the most selfless person I have ever known. He was the best friend anyone could ask for - always there to lend a hand or an ear, no matter what. We loved to pal around together: fishing, camping, working, tinkering on old cars, or just talking to anyone who would listen.
Bill had a gift for being present for others. He was always available when you needed him, yet he never complained about his own struggles or asked for anything in return. His kindness, generosity, and easygoing spirit made every moment with him a joy.
He will be truly missed, and there is no replacing a friend like Bill. The world is a better place for having had him in it, and my life is forever richer because of his friendship.
Rest easy, my dear friend.
