He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Catherine Holmes.
William is survived by his sister, Helen Duncan Brown (Robert); niece, Tracy Duncan-Otis (Larry); nephew, Kevin Duncan (Stacey) and a host of great nieces and nephews; cousin, Mary Elizabeth Humphrey.
Visitation: 11am-12pm Thursday, January 22, 2026 at A.D. Porter & Sons Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Rd., funeral service to follow at 12 noon. Burial: Green Meadows Cemetery.

To My Sister Brother will be truey missed I remember how excited he was to see me and it Blessed my heart how he always asked about my Aiunties Gloria and Virginia Woodford when I was driving and would take him to his job he was always pleasant and Happy so love the memories that you shared and just know that he is with Mother and Dad now and a Angel watching over you all Praying with you and your Family love you all Diahanne C Woodford
