William "Billy" Houseknecht, 43 of Clymer, PA., passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, in an automobile accident.
He was the son of William and Lee Ann (Black) Houseknecht, born May 31, 1982, in Williamsport, PA.
Billy was a devoted husband, father, coach, and beloved member of the community. Billy was the kind of person who gave his all for his family, local kids and anyone who needed a helping hand. Billy was a proud and involved father; he never missed a game or a chance to support his children.
He spent countless hours coaching the little league, comets football team and the girl's elementary basketball team. In years past, he also coached baseball and served on the board for Clymer Little League, as well as Little Comet's Football.
Billy served in the United States Air Force. He was a hard worker, avid hunter, and a sports fan of many sports but mainly the Raiders. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Faith (Marsh) Houseknecht his four children, Ryleigh Houseknecht, Noah Houseknecht, Casey Houseknecht, Devin Houseknecht, one sister, Stacy Parks, three brothers, Jason Houseknecht and wife Rickie, John Farley and wife Victoria, and Sean Farley, and adopted mother, Jan Farley, also survived are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents and adopted dad, Ned Farley.
Family and fiends will be received on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1 pm to 6 pm at the McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St. Clymer. His funeral service will follow at 6 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Caleb Fugate as officiant. Interment will be private for the family in Marion Center Cemetery.
