Will is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 25 years, Sara, and his cherished children, Jacob (25), Christian (21), and twins Tanner and Chase (14).
A proud alumnus of Lake Superior State University, Will parlayed his education into a fulfilling career at OVD Insurance, where he was not just an employee but a member of a close-knit work family.
Will's zest for life was evident in his interests. He once called Colorado home, where he led a youth baseball team to state championships, a testament to his leadership and mentorship. His love for the Florida Keys, Colorado, and St. Croix was immortalized through the many joyous family vacations spent in these locales.
Will's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the lives of those he touched with his generous spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, at 11:00 A.M. at VanderLaan Funeral Home, 4917 32nd Ave. Hudsonville, MI 49426. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family via their GoFundMe page.

I met Will during my interview at Frankenmuth Insurance when he interviewed new me fora Loss Control position. I always remember he asked me how "how many golf balls would it take to fill a school bus?" He was testing my sense of humor.
I always called him the Professor, he was one smart man.
Rest in peace my dear friend!
