William Kenneth "Bill" Ingram, 78, of Davenport, Florida, passed away on March 3, 2026 at AdventHealth Celebration. He was born on February 18, 1948 in Sylacauga to Mannie and Eunice Baker Ingram.

William was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country faithfully for 20 years. He retired honorably with the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSG). During his distinguished military career, he received numerous decorations and commendations, including the National Defense Service Medal; Army Commendation Medal with Second Oak Leaf Cluster; Bronze Star Medal; Vietnam Service Medal with One Silver Service Star; Vietnam Campaign Medal; Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm (Unit); Parachutist Badge; Good Conduct Medal (6th Award); Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Award); Mechanic Badge; Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with 3rd Device; and the Meritorious Service Medal.

Following his military retirement, Bill moved to Davenport 20 years ago from Columbia, Illinois. He worked for more than 20 years as a truck driver for Cayenne Express, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

William loved riding his Harley, playing cards, and tinkering around his house. Above all, he loved his family dearly and treasured the time he spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mannie and Eunice Ingram; his first wife, Jacquline Ingram; his second wife, Cathryn Ingram; brother-in-law, Terry Fields; and brothers, Gene and Earl Ingram.

William leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Debye Baker Ingram of Davenport, Florida; son, John Ingram of Davenport, Florida; daughters, Jennifer Gosa and husband Ryan of Davenport, Florida, and Tara Michelle Gullick of Cocoa Beach, Florida; stepsons, Shane Stewart and wife Kristie of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Chris Nix and wife Crystal of Sylacauga, Alabama; stepdaughter, Tara Giddens and husband Tommy of Newton, Alabama; brothers, Robert Ingram and wife Chanda of Childersburg, Alabama, and James Ingram and wife Diane of Lakeland, Florida; sister, Ann Ingram Fields of Sylacauga, Alabama; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
