William Harold "W.H." Fredlock, IV, 57, of Swanton, MD, died on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Born on March 16, 1965, in Keyser, WV, he was the son of William Harold "Bill", III and Sandra S. "Sandy" (Moffatt) Fredlock of Swanton.
A funeral director, W.H. worked for the family business in Piedmont and also helped Dean Nofsinger at Markwood Funeral Home in Keyser. W.H. loved spending his summers on the lake and his winters snowmobiling with family and friends. When his son, Will, was young, W.H. enjoyed having Will and his friends at the house, where everyone was welcome, and they often gathered for bonfires, good food and lots of fun.
In addition to his parents, W.H. is survived by his son, William Harold "Will" Fredlock, V; his siblings, Sean Fredlock and fiancée Regina, Chris Fredlock and wife Sherri, and Julie Fredlock and fiancé Clay; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home, 31 Jones St., Piedmont, WV on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 11 AM in Divine Mercy, St. Peter of Westernport , Maryland with Monsignor Richard Woy as celebrant. Private family interment will be in the Philos Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Garrett County Humane Society, PO Box 115, Oakland, MD 21550, the Mineral County Humane Society, HC 84, Box 12, Keyser, WV 26726 or Bishop Walsh School, 700 Bishop Walsh Road, Cumberland, MD 21502.
