William Lisle Jane Jr. of Laingsburg,
Passed away February 7, 2025, at the age of 62. William was born in Charlotte, MI, August 4, 1962, the son of William and Charlotte (Hawkins) Jane Sr. He worked for Peckham as a Facility Technician for 18 years before retiring in 2024. William's love for fishing expanded far greater than just being a regular fisherman. He had a deep passion for it, and he threw in hunting as a hobby as well.
William is survived by his uncle and aunt, John and Linda Jane of Charlotte; siblings, Joyce (Richard) Wood of Michigan, Elizabeth Duff of Florida; stepsister, Holly (Mark) Richardson of Lansing; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, Vickie Nemetz; brother, Johnny Jane; stepsister, Shannon Neveau.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Chief Okemos Sportsman Club, 4667 N. Gunnell Rd, Dimondale MI 48821. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made in William's memory to the American Cancer Society, 29777 Telegraph Rd Suite 1451, Southfield, MI 48034.
