William Jones Obituary
William Thay Jones, 86, of Clermont, Ga., died on Thursday, April 25, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Ga. Rev. Rex Fuller and David Martin will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.
Thay loved construction, carpentry, cabinetry, driving his old cars, farming, and fishing.
Thay is survived by his wife Janice Butler Jones; his sons Jeff Jones (Elaine), Bradley Jones (Beverly); his grandchildren Brandon Jones (Morgan), Faith Jones, and Jason Jones; his sisters Clara Nell Fuller, Thelma Helton, and Ruth Martin.
Thay is preceded in death by his parents William and Willie Jones; his brother Tex Jones (Violet); his sisters Mac Kelm (Sam), and Gurtrude Elliott (Ray); his brother-in-laws Willard Fuller, Lyman Martin and Sonny Helton. W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Ga.
