William "Bill" Leroy Jones, age 57, of Newton, Illinois, formerly of Paris, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 7, 2025, from 9-11 AM, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home in Paris, Il. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation with Pastor Joe Stidham presiding. Burial will be private at a later date.

William was born on February 7, 1968, the son of Lou and Bonnie (Tappscott) Jones. He married Lisa Lomas of Newton, IL on June 10, 2023. She survives.

Bill graduated from Paris High School with the class of 1986. He was currently working as a supervisor at ADM in Effingham, Illinois.

Bill enjoyed golf, drag racing, and taking his Harley for a cruise. He was also known to enjoy the occasional sugar cookie with extra icing. Bill enjoyed many things, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife Lisa (Lomas) Jones of Newton, Illinois; his daughters: Bailey Lindley of Marshall, Il, Tiffany (Dave) Wagenblast of Springfield, Il, Christina Marie Hoffman (Athena) of Seymour, In, Della Kay Jones of Seymour, In; his step-daughter: Megan Lomas of Villa Grove, Il; his grandchildren: Lance Nichols of Marshall, Il, Ben Belli Polito of Seymour, In, Grayson Lindley of Marhsall, Il; and his brother: James (Brenda) Jones of Chesapeake, Va.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Bryan Jones.

Memorials may be made to Saved by Grace Animal Rescue in Newton, Illinois
