Mr. William Gordon "Bill" Jones

Mr. William G. Jones, known affectionately as "Bill" to many, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at the age of 60.

Born on February 23rd, 1965, in Fort Lee, Viringia, he was the son of the late William E. Jones and Doris Jones.

In addition to his parents, Bill is also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 39 years, Mrs. Jane Jones.

William is survived by his children: Brittany Dean (Cody), Allen Jones (Sherry), and Brandon Jones (Jennifer). He was a proud grandfather to Cameron Jones, Amelia Jones, Colton Dean, Paisley Dean, and Raylan Jones. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Traci Dodson (Barry) and Denise Fuechsel (Ricky), and his mother and father-in-law, Elaine and Mike Henry.

A diesel mechanic by trade, Bill worked as a shop manager with Ryder. His passion for mechanics extended beyond his professional life, as he enjoyed tinkering with hot rods in his spare time, as well as fishing. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

He loved his family, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Known for his sense of humor, Bill loved to "cut up" and crack jokes, bringing smiles to those around him.

One of Bill's favorite places to travel to was the Cherokee Mountain area, where he and Jane visited often. It was a place of fun, and fond memories for him.

He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
