William Craig Kiser

William “Craig” Kiser, 66, of Matoaca, passed away on February 5, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Herman LaVaughn “Bill” Kiser. Craig leaves behind his beloved mother, Janet Lee Kiser, of Colonial Heights, VA; his daughter, Lauren K. Kiser (Troy), of Chester, VA; his brother, Mark Kiser, of Hopewell, VA; his sister, Lonna Freeland (Milton), of Colonial Heights, VA; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Among Craig’s greatest blessings and joys were his grandchildren: Karlee, Brayden, Austin, Olivia, and Trinity. He cherished every moment spent with them. Craig was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles F.O.E. 882 and the Matoaca Sportsman’s Club. He was an outdoorsman through and through with a passion for fishing, hunting and gardening. A special mention to all of Craig’s lifelong buddies, their support and friendship through the years meant everything to him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Woodpecker Lodge 4718 Woodpecker Road, Chesterfield, Virginia.
