William Kiuber Obituary
A lifelong resident of the City of Amsterdam, he attended local schools and spent his entire career working for General Electric in the Turbine Department. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who cherished time spent at his camp on Sacandaga Lake at Debra Lee Campground. He was a proud member of the Reid Hill Fish and Game Club, St. Mike's Club, PNA, Bigelow Weavers, and the American Legion. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his buddies - sharing a beer, swapping fish tales, playing his "numbers" and enjoying good company.
He was predeceased by his fiancé and companion of 42 years, Geraldine A. Dunn; and his brother, Jimmy Kiuber.
Survivors include his step children, Lorraine Scheckton (James) and Debra Miller (Doug); his daughter, Lori Tromp (Jeff); his niece and nephew, Lisa Rabbia and Joey Kiuber.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Rose & Hughes Funeral Home.

Oh my heart is sad..Such a great man..we had a lot of fun times doing the Reid Hill Kids Fising Derby and fall picnics together..you will be missed very much..Rest easy Bill
