William Kramer Obituary
Louisville - William D. "Bill" Kramer passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the age of 78. He was born in Louisville on August 13, 1943 to the late Albert E. and Lucille M. Kramer.
Bill was a retired electrician for Local 369. He graduated from Flaget High School and was a member of the Emanon Club for Flaget grads. He and his wife attended St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish. Bill professed to be a "wanna-be" golfer. He was a huge University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and possessed a great sense of humor. Above all, he was a devoted husband and loved his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Eileen Wade Kramer; three children, Lisa Carroll and husband Mike, Michael Kramer and wife Kim, and Shelley Wade and husband Mike; seven grandchildren, Katie and Zachary Carroll; Emma, Eva and Elijah Kramer; Ethan and Logan Wade; four siblings, Al Kramer and wife Linda, Jack Kramer and wife Barbara, Ronnie Kramer and wife Linda and Patty Luckett and husband Terry.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 3rd at St. Gabriel Parish, 5505 Bardstown Road. Burial will take place at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Heart Association and online condolences may be shared at www.ratterman.com. Ratterman and Sons on Bardstown Road is caring for the family.

I was honored to take of Bill over the last 2 plus years. He will be greatly missed. I enjoyed my Tuesday morning visits with him and his wife. Many prayers go out to this wonderful family. He will be greatly missed.
