William David Kroener

Will and I met at UCF. A year ago we were entering our final semester of college together and four months from then, we would walk the stage to get our diplomas with our two other friends.

Will was an incredible human being. He had a way of making everyone laugh and reminding everyone not to take life so seriously. He uplifted everyone he knew and always made sure to make everyone he didn't feel so welcome.

Will, thank you for all the study sessions, the laughs, the unwavering belief you had in me, the hope, and above all - your friendship. I will miss you, forever.

To the Kroener family - my condolences. My thoughts and prayers will always be with your family.

We will remember Will with that sweet smile that always characterizes him. May God give him peace and comfort to the entire family who always gave him all the support and love he needed. Our prays are with you.

Kent, I just learned of your families tragic loss. I am so sorry. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this hard time. May your sons memory warm you and give you comfort.

I worked with Will for a long time, and I was lucky enough to bump into him on the street occasionally. He was always such a sweet person. He was funny and kind, and he was always great to talk to even if just for a couple of seconds. He was such a wonderful human being and I can´t believe he´s gone. I will never forget him

I first met Will in our job and we become good friends and we talked a lot about our future and life and all our plans after I come back for my vacations I´m always gonna remember you will I miss you.

One thing i will always remember about you Will is how kind and respectful you were every time we saw each other ...

You were one of the first people that introduced themselves to me when I came to Cheddars 4 years ago ..

You always had a smile on your face and I don´t think I ever saw you in a bad mood :-)

I remember when we were elementary school me, Will, Lucas, Paul and everyone in his neighborhood would play manhunt. We would be hiding in bushes climbing trees or make our escape in the paddle boat. When we got board with that we´d go into the pool, put the kayak inside of it and try to see who could last the longest on top of the kayak. Everyday we would just have the best time of our life. We would turn a bad situation into a good one. One time Erik fell while playing in the pool and my mom came to check up on him and I tagged along so I could hang out with Will. We were worried about his brother at first, but after he got checked and they said just make sure he doesn´t goto sleep right now we got the legos started building, played Halo and even started planning our excuses to miss school so that we could stay up all night and try to see who could stay awake the longest. I feel like most of my child hood memories were spent at his house and around the neighborhood. Will really connected a lot of people. I just wish I could´ve reconnected sooner and seen him. I miss you homie one day we´ll see each other again

I served as Will's General Manager at Cheddar's and I must say we all are deeply saddened by his passing. I was able to see Will's transition from almost 6 years ago till his passing and I must say he was doing a fantastic job for us and everyone loved his personality and charm. For me, he was the only employee that made sure to greet me on each of his shifts. Always professional and respectful. God bless you Will, RIP

Will always held out a helping hand. I was always stressed and he would always listen and would brighten up everyone´s day with a joke. He never hesitated to give advice. He will forever be missed.

I didn't know him close but we met at work he was always such a great friendly guy and ever time we saw each other he would always say hi to me and give me a hug... I looked forward to it cause it was just a kind nice thing he will be miss greatly

Will was a very supportive friend who was always willing to extend a helping hand. He would always be the first person to say hi to anyone who walked in the room and make them feel so welcome. I´ll always appreciate his kindness and remember his support.

In 2022 I joined the marketing club at UCF where I didn´t know anyone and he was one of the first people I ever talked to and caused me to stay. He was always at the front door welcoming everyone in with an inviting smile. I´ll always remember the kindness he showed me, even though he barely knew me at the time.

Rest in peace my friend . You will always be remembered. I will pray for you and your family.

Will was the kind of guy whose laugh could light up a room. Working with him a cheddars was always great. He will be remembered fondly.
