William Kroener Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care - Pembroke Pines Chapel on Jun. 1, 2024.
It is with great sadness and truly broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing on May 27, 2024, of William David Kroener, 24, our beloved son, brother, and friend to all.
William was born February 25, 2000, in Miami, Florida. He was a recent graduate from University of Central Florida in 2023 with a bachelor's in marketing. His family was so proud of his achievements. William had recently completed an internship at Darden Restaurants, specializing in Longhorn Steakhouse, where he shone the brightest making everyone proud and excited of what his career path in marketing had in store.
William is survived by his grieving and heartbroken parents, Kent and Marie-Eve Kroener, and brother, Eric Kroener. He is additionally survived by his equally devastated grandparents, Bob and Donna Kroener, several aunts, and uncles: Kelly and Daren Reece, Scott Kroener and Alisa Seitel, Catherine Delorme, and Benjamin Reece, one of his many loving cousins.
One of many who was hardest hit by William's untimely passing is his sweet, doting Odile. Odile was a beacon of warmth and affection, who had known William from the time he was born and wrapped William with her unconditional love and favorite treats his entire life.
William is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jean-Claude and Paule Delorme, and great- grandmother, Lucille Tardiff.
Black. Fast. Sleek. Bold. William's affinity for the color black and exotic cars was no secret. Both mysterious and bold, mirroring his enigmatic spirit and sense of power. He was often "The Man in Black" a la Johnny Cash, wearing his black attire like a badge of honor, a symbol of unwavering strength and resilience in the face of adversity. Like the sleek interior of an exotic car, William exuded style that set him apart from the rest.
However, in all this mystery and darkness, he had a smile that lit up the room like the high beams of a Lamborghini. He possessed a wit as quick as lightning, yet a tenderness that knew no bounds, and let's not forget his love of food!!!! He could eat anyone under the table.so much so, his mom had to keep the pantry locked!! But that was ok because Aunt Kelly's was William's most favorite pantry to just stand in – wide-eyed, like he had just stepped into Willy Wonka's Factory full of forbidden delights. Equally passionate was his love for Nike Air Jordan sneakers-each pair a reflection of his unique personality and individuality. But none were as special as his Vans recently given by his adoring mom. Each pair of sneakers were carefully curated, much like his relationships, with love and authenticity.
But above all, William cherished his family with a love as deep and unwavering as the ocean. The laughter, joy, and love that he brought into their lives, whom he fiercely loved, will live forever in their hearts. Their bond was unbreakable like the unyielding steel of his father's GTR-which William was responsible for finding on a Japanese website because it would be "a cool idea for me and Dad we could fix it and flip it." We all know how that DIDN'T happen!!
May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of his family and the warmth of his memories. Your light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who love you. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will endure, like a classic car that never loses its allure. And may we find solace in the knowledge that your spirit will forever burn as brightly as the flames of a fast, sleek, black car, on an open road, wind blowing in your hair, smiling and saying, "girls just love curls."
A visitation is to be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

Will and I met at UCF. A year ago we were entering our final semester of college together and four months from then, we would walk the stage to get our diplomas with our two other friends.

Will was an incredible human being. He had a way of making everyone laugh and reminding everyone not to take life so seriously. He uplifted everyone he knew and always made sure to make everyone he didn't feel so welcome.

Will, thank you for all the study sessions, the laughs, the unwavering belief you had in me, the hope, and above all - your friendship. I will miss you, forever.

To the Kroener family - my condolences. My thoughts and prayers will always be with your family.

I worked with Will for a long time, and I was lucky enough to bump into him on the street occasionally. He was always such a sweet person. He was funny and kind, and he was always great to talk to even if just for a couple of seconds. He was such a wonderful human being and I can´t believe he´s gone. I will never forget him

I remember when we were elementary school me, Will, Lucas, Paul and everyone in his neighborhood would play manhunt. We would be hiding in bushes climbing trees or make our escape in the paddle boat. When we got board with that we´d go into the pool, put the kayak inside of it and try to see who could last the longest on top of the kayak. Everyday we would just have the best time of our life. We would turn a bad situation into a good one. One time Erik fell while playing in the pool and my mom came to check up on him and I tagged along so I could hang out with Will. We were worried about his brother at first, but after he got checked and they said just make sure he doesn´t goto sleep right now we got the legos started building, played Halo and even started planning our excuses to miss school so that we could stay up all night and try to see who could stay awake the longest. I feel like most of my child hood memories were spent at his house and around the neighborhood. Will really connected a lot of people. I just wish I could´ve reconnected sooner and seen him. I miss you homie one day we´ll see each other again

I served as Will's General Manager at Cheddar's and I must say we all are deeply saddened by his passing. I was able to see Will's transition from almost 6 years ago till his passing and I must say he was doing a fantastic job for us and everyone loved his personality and charm. For me, he was the only employee that made sure to greet me on each of his shifts. Always professional and respectful. God bless you Will, RIP

Will was a very supportive friend who was always willing to extend a helping hand. He would always be the first person to say hi to anyone who walked in the room and make them feel so welcome. I´ll always appreciate his kindness and remember his support.

In 2022 I joined the marketing club at UCF where I didn´t know anyone and he was one of the first people I ever talked to and caused me to stay. He was always at the front door welcoming everyone in with an inviting smile. I´ll always remember the kindness he showed me, even though he barely knew me at the time.
