William Kundratic

William Kundratic, 90, of Jenkins Township, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J., following a fall at his residence.

Born in Port Blanchard, Pa., he was the son of the late Andrew and Julia (Broda) Kundratic. William had been a resident of Jenkins Township for the past 75 years.

William worked in the construction industry for many years and was known as a skilled and dedicated craftsman. A talented carpenter, he generously shared his knowledge and abilities with family and friends, always willing to lend a helping hand on various projects.

Following his retirement, William embraced his love of travel and the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, spending time on his boat on Lake Ontario, and traveling throughout the country, including an extended trip to Alaska. He cherished winters in Florida and summers in Maine, making the most of every season.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Josephine Giza and Marion Malinski; and his brother, Andrew Kundratic.

He is survived by his sister, Pauline Sapek, of Franklin, N.J.; along with many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 - which would have been William's 91st birthday - at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 South Main Street, Plains. Services will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a Parastas service at noon. Interment will follow at Holy Resurrection Church Cemetery, Plains.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff of Westwind Manor in Franklin, N.J., for the care and support they provided. William formed many friendships there, sharing meals and activities, and by all accounts was happy during his time among them.
