William Landers Obituary
Mr. William Larry Landers, age 75, of Americus, passed away at his home peacefully on January 14, 2026. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M, Monday January 19th, 2026 in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mr. William Larry Landers was born January 16, 1950 to the late William and Anita Landers. He was a highly decorated Army Veteran who served during Vietnam. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed playing games with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cutting grass, and watching The Georgia Bulldogs play. He was a delivery driver for Shiver Lumber Company and Baptist by Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Ann Franks Landers His sons; William Landers (Zena) of Ocala, FL. and Jason Landers (Renata) of Ocala, FL. His bonus children; Robert Singley (Merry Leigh) of Americus and Kelly Hicks (Bryan) of Americus. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters; Louise and Ruth.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to any Veterans Organization’s of your choice, and to The American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org).
