William Morton Laymon, 86, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on December 11, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 27, 1939, to Ralph Laymon and Martha (Freeman) Laymon. On December 04, 1987 William married Betty Brewer in Fort Worth, Texas
He loved going bowling, riding motorcycles, and anything to do with cars especially Corvettes. William loved spending time with his family, most of all his grandchildren.
William is survived by his loving wife, Betty Laymon; one daughter Kim (Danny) Fry of Poplar Bluff; and two grandchildren, Matthew (Catherine) Smith, and Brandon Fry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Martha Laymon; and three siblings. A host of family and friends survive.
No services are scheduled at the time. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
