William Harry "Bill" Leslie IV

William Harry "Bill" Leslie IV, age 38, of Cement City, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025. He was born November 17, 1987, in Jackson, to William Harry "Bill" and Donna (Collins) Leslie III. Bill married Kelly Stewart on July 28, 2018, and she survives.
Bill graduated from Addison High School in 2006. No stranger to hard work, Bill always held down multiple jobs and one of his first being Freddie Freeze in Somerset. He began his career as a compassionate health care worker, working his way up from the kitchen department at Allegiance Hospital in Jackson to become nurse practitioner, currently serving at Karim Health Care in Jonesville and Pittsford. Bill received his registered nursing degree from Jackson College, his bachelor's of science in nursing from Siena Heights University, and his nurse practitioners from Spring Arbor University. He also previously worked as firefighter and paramedic with Somerset Township Fire and EMS and formerly with Liberty Township.
Through his driven work commitments, Bill gained a vast amount of knowledge that he humbly shared with others who were training to serve in the medical and emergency service fields. He held himself to a high moral standard, leading by example in all areas of his life. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, who gained a love and respect for the outdoors from his father. When he wasn't working, Bill could be found outside hunting, fishing, ice fishing, firing up his chainsaw to tackle even the smallest of projects, or sharing the same silly stories on repeat. Most importantly, Bill was a loving husband, and father to his three beloved children. He cherished the time he shared with his kids, especially when they were outside hunting, fishing, and boating together as a family.
In addition to his beloved wife, Kelly Leslie, Bill is survived by his three children, Piper Leslie, William "Will" Leslie V, and Sawyer Leslie; his mother, Donna (Dale) Harris of North Street, Michigan; three siblings, Nick Leslie, Taelo (Gerry) Davids, and Chad Thurman; paternal aunts, Brenda (Randy) Kulhawik, and Linda Leslie; maternal aunts, Kristina Gotshall, and Ruth (Dan) Marks; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Karen (Kevin Aberle) Schneider; two brothers-in-law, Troy (Jennifer) Stewart, and Eric (Heather) Stewart;.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William H. "Bill" Leslie III.
A celebration of life for Bill Leslie IV will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Grace Church in Jackson with Dr. James Walling officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale. Private family committal will be held at future date at Moscow Plains Cemetery.
