William Henry Lewis Jr., 79, of Martinsburg, passed away Thursday October 2, 2025, at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday October 6, 2025, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jonesburg. Visitation will be Monday from Noon until 2 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.

Junior was born April 29, 1946, in St. Louis. He is the son of William Henry Lewis Sr. and Maxine Pearl Littrell Rutledge. On February 13, 1980, he married Joyce Burts in Wellsville. She survives.

Junior was a veteran of the US Navy. He was very proud to have served his country. After the service Junior spent 28 years working for Mark-Andy Inc. Printer Press Manufacture in Chesterfield. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was known for his ability to rebuild and repair cars.

In addition to his wife Joyce, survivors include two sons, Troy Jenks, of Piedmont, MO, and Scotty Lewis, of Martinsburg; four daughters, Rhonda Colombo, of High Hill, Stephanie Sexton, of Montgomery City, Billie Brown (Michael), of Montgomery City, and Wendy Lewis, of Martinsburg; two brothers, Steve Lewis (Kathy), of Jonesburg, and Lymon Lewis (Pat), of DeSoto; two sisters, Jane Albers, of St. Louis County, and Janet McKernon, of Cahokia, IL; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Albie Cullom.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Lewis Sr.; his mother, Maxine Rutledge; three brothers, Leonard Lewis, Carl Lewis, and Roland Lewis; and one sister, Judy Cullom.

The family requests memorial gifts be given to Myers Funeral Home (with Lewis expenses in the Memo). They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
