It is with great sadness that the family of William James Lloyd announce his passing on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in Arlington, Texas.
He was born March 2, 1956, to his parents James T. Lloyd and Doris M. Lloyd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the age of 18 he served a short time in the Army at Fort Knox, Kentucky with an honorable discharge. He worked as a plumber and grounds crew at Delaware State Hospital for 42 years, until his retirement. He enjoyed building models and playing PC games in his spare time. Every Sunday, you could find him watching The Philadelphia Eagles.

He was a long-term resident of Delaware before moving to Texas in 2016.
William was not only preceded in death by his parents, but also his Wife of 13 years Lorri Ann Evans-Lloyd. He is survived by his five children and 17 Grandchildren.
Son William James Lloyd, Jr. (40) and his wife Megan Leighann Riley-Lloyd. Daughter Megan Marie Lloyd-Aguilera (38) and husband Jose Aguilera. Son Norman James Lloyd (36) and wife Cailen Rose Frances Oest-Lloyd. Daughter Kristin Mary Lloyd (34) of Texas and Daughter Kaitlin Angela Lloyd (26) Delaware. His sister Kathleen Macey-Delaware and brothers John Lloyd -Delaware, Thomas Lloyd -Vegas and James Lloyd- Florida.
A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, with a viewing at 10:00 am and Chapel Service at 11:00 am at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. A burial with Military Honors will follow at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Blessings Funeral Home at 401 Elm St. Mansfield, Texas 76063 on October 29, 2024.
