William D. Loberg, 70, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.
Bill was born October 24, 1955 in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Carl Richard and Virginia Mae (Rogers) Loberg. Bill married Cynthia Jane Mosley. She preceded him in death on April 23, 2014. After high school, Bill worked as an over the road truck driver for several years. He later transitioned into retail working at Wal-Mart along with other various stores throughout his career.
Bill is survived by three sons, Billy Loberg, Brian Loberg, and Adam Loberg. He is also survived by his grandchildren; and one brother, Rick Loberg of Aurora, Illinois. Including his wife, Bill was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Randy, Keith, Gary, and Lennie; and one sister, Linda.
In his free time, Bill enjoyed working on cars. In his youth he spent many hours roller skating at the local roller rinks.
Cremation will be accorded. No services are planned. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
