William Dennis Logue, 65, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, a retired Clarion County Emergency Management Coordinator, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer early Monday morning, June 30, 2025 shortly after his arrival in the emergency department at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.
Dennis was born in Butler on September 5, 1959. He was the son of Barbara J. Stewart Logue of St. Petersburg and the late William D. Logue.
He was a 1977 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg. Dennis was a U.S. Army veteran, having earned the rank of Specialist 4. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and had been a deputy for the PA Fish and Boat Commission in Clarion County. Dennis served for many years on St. Petersburg Borough Council, was a member of the St. Petersburg Volunteer Fire Department and was an EMT with the former A-C Valley Ambulance Service. He had recently retired following many years of service as the Clarion County Emergency Management Coordinator.
In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by his wife, Gabi Logue of St. Petersburg; his sons, Jeremy M. Logue of St. Petersburg and Billy Logue of Franklin; two daughters, Carilyn Strawbridge and her husband, Jeff, of Franklin, and Jennifer Jahn of Germany, as well as a number of grandchildren; a brother, David M. Logue and his significant other, Chris, of Butler; two sisters, Melanie J. Courson and her husband, Tom, and Marcy J. Courson and her husband, Rob, all of St. Petersburg, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and a number of aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home Inc., 802 Grove St., St. Petersburg, from Noon-4 p.m. Saturday. A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Paula Grucza, pastor of the Heckathorn-Polk United Methodist Church, officiating.
