Barbara Davidson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home Inc. on Mar. 4, 2026.
Barbara J. Davidson, 94, of Titusville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Southwoods Assisted Living, with her children by her side.
Barb was born on February 10, 1932, in Rocky Grove. A daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary Hannah Gates Swartz. She married Kenneth F. Davidson on July 24, 1955, at Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Titusville. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2013.
She was a graduate of Emlenton High School, Class of 1950.
Barb was employed at the Titusville Trust Company and worked as a teller for many years, until she decided to stay home and raise her children.
She was an active member at St. James Episcopal Church, she was the alter guild directress for many years, sang in the choir and helped with various events and gatherings.
In her younger years, Barb enjoyed playing golf with her husband at Green Acres on Friday nights, and the women's league at Cross Creek Resort. She loved to do her crossword puzzles but also had a daring side. In August of 2013, at 81 years old she and her family went skydiving in Grove City, and she said she would go again at 91. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Scott Davidson and wife Donella of Waynesville, NC, Ted Davidson and wife Ruthann of Baden, PA, Lisa Kellogg and husband Barry of Titusville; her grandchildren, Cammie Lanagan and husband Lee of Waterford, Caitlin Davidson of Ambridge, PA, Cameron Davidson and wife Emily of Franklin, TN, Ben Davidson and wife Alexandra of Canton, NC, Lydia Cairns and husband Austin of Hydetown, Hope Kellogg and fiancé Kurtis Billig of Titusville, Micah Davidson of Colorado Springs, CO; her great grandchildren, Aubrie Lanagan, Peyton Plyler, Ruby Davidson, with a great grandson and great granddaughter on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 112 East Main St, Titusville PA, 16354, on Saturday, March 21st beginning at 11 AM, with a luncheon to follow.
Memorial contributions can be made out to St. James Episcopal Church; Hospice of Crawford County, 766 Liberty Street, Meadville, PA 16335; or the Benson Memorial Library, 213 North Franklin Street, Titusville, PA 16354.
The family would like to thank the staff at Southwoods Assisted Living Center for their loving care of Barb during her residence.
