William A. Lupi

William A. Lupi 68 of Hamden died suddenly at home January 29th. Born in New Haven December 7, 1957, he was the loving son of the late William E. & Shirley Papero Lupi. William was a U.S. Navy veteran and worked for many years as a laborer for various local construction companies. He enjoyed reading, especially the newspaper, and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by a sister Sue Lupi of Quincy Mass. In addition to his parents Bill was predeceased by a sister Ellen Marie Lupi. Calling hours will be held Wednesday Feb. 4th from 8:30 - 10:15 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors & nurses at the West Haven V.A. hospital.
