William Luke Malone

William Luke "Bill" Malone, age 73, of Waskom, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025. He was born on October 29, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Luther Ellis and Ann Marie Malone.

Bill had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, and cherished time spent with his family and church community. His life was marked by kindness, faith, and a strong commitment to those he loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Ann Marie Malone. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Connie K. Malone; his children, Clay Malone and wife Becky, Luke Malone, Matthew C. Malone and wife Micah, and Jayson Malone and wife Olga; and his grandchildren, Dylon, Parker, Brynn, Ollie, Harvey, Cohen, and Laila.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church in Waskom, Texas. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Pastor Doug Lovett and Brother Jay Knighten. Honoring Bill as pallbearers will be Matthew C. Malone, Luke Malone, Clay Malone, Jayson Malone, Dylon Malone, Parker Malone, and Harvey Malone. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be LA Hawg Hunters, Henry Wright, and the Faith Bible Study Group.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bill’s memory to Faith Baptist Church or CHRISTUS Highland Cancer Center.

Bill will be remembered for his love of life, faith in God, and the legacy of family and friendship he leaves behind.
