A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Coker Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Billy Don graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1971 and then attended and graduated from the Dillard College of Business in Wichita Falls, Texas. After graduation, he worked for the Jacksboro Feed Meal for many years until his health no longer allowed him to work. Billy Don loved to spend time with his siblings, nieces, and nephews. He thought the world of his nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Billy Don is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Wanda June Isbell.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his siblings, James McCord of Jacksboro, John McCord of Graham, and Cynthia Lowther of Jacksboro; nieces and nephews, Vicki McWhorter, Kevin McCord and wife Teresa, Tammy Keen, Tiffany McCord, Jessica Skaggs and husband Glenn, Quentin Reaves, and wife Amber, and Sarah Lowther.
