William J. McCrary Jr passed away at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte on February 3, 2025, at the age of 35.
He was born on June 13, 1989, in Davidson County to the late William Jeffrey McCrary Sr. and Angela Dawn McCrary.
William worked as an assistant manager at Sam's Car Wash. His favorite thing to do in this world was being a part of his family's lives. He places his family over everything and did everything he could for them. He was also very involved in NA (Narcotics Anonymous) and made it his life's mission to do all he could to help the next person, no matter what it was. He had a one-of-a-kind huge heart and made an impact on everyone's life he ever met.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Jessica Amber Reid.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Shannon McCrary; his daughter Summer Atwell; his sister Jennifer Carter(husband Chad); his brother Christopher McCrary (wife Krystin); his grandmother Shirley McCrary (husband James Reid); his nieces and nephews Keyana Trembley, Tensley Sifford, Austyn Trembley, Dylan Trembley, Dalton Trembley, Jakob Mullins, Branson Roth, Brenton Sifford, Weston Sifford, Amos Phillips, and Karisma Carter; and his great nieces Emersyn, Everly, and Ezra.
A viewing will be held at 1:00-2:45 pm on Sunday February 9, 2025, at New Hope Baptist Church, 555 Neisler Rd, Concord, NC 28025. A service will follow from 3:00-4:00 pm.
