William "Billy" F. McCusker, 74, of Narragansett passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6th surrounded by his family. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 21, 1951 to his loving parents, the late Francis and Molly (Festa) McCusker. He was the devoted husband of Glenda McCusker for 25 years. He was also the loving and dedicated father of Travis William McCusker, grandfather of Madison and Paige McCusker, brother of Kathy Katsetos (Nick), uncle to Nicky (Arthur), Krissy (Mark) and Johnny (Christy). Billy also leaves behind his favorite companion Blue.

Billy graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice. This degree allowed him to follow in his father's footsteps and continue his long career with the Providence Police Department, where he served proudly next to his brothers and sisters in blue for 26 years before retiring to his home in Narragansett.

Visiting hours will be held for Billy on Thursday, March 12th from 4-6 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI 02879. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 28th at 10 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett, RI 02882.
