Dear Father Kevin,
We only learnt of your bereavement during Saturday's mass. We were deeply sorry to hear about the death of your father. Over the years we have looked for him, usually on the left side of the church (occasionally in the choir loft), and felt reassured by his presence there. We know that you will keenly feel his absence in the days and months ahead. At the same time, you will surely find comfort in the knowledge that you now have two fathers in heaven. Please extend our condolences to all members of your family.

Dear McDonough Family,
I am very sorry to hear of Bill Senior's sudden death. Although I interacted with him only from time-to-time I was always deeply impressed by his devotion to family, his sense of hard work, and his rather roisterous wit. Know that I am keeping him and all of you in my prayers and that I will see you at the funeral.

Having met the McDonough's when you first moved to Stillwater We were taken by the closeness of the family. Working for the family and watching the family grow was something to behold. We know that Bill will be greatly missed by his family and everyone that knew him. He was a great man and it was our pleasure to know him and call him a friend. God bless you all.

Irish Poem
Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.
