William J. McFaul, 81, of Pitman, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Arista Care in Manchester. Born in Baltimore, MD, Bill lived in Jackson for 40 years before relocating to Pitman three years ago.
Will was the co-founder and operator of McFaul & Lyons in Hamilton Township, which became the largest consulting firm in the world focused on identifying and implementing non-labor expense reductions for hospitals and healthcare systems. His entrepreneurial spirit and sharp intellect were matched only by his passion for the business world.
Outside of work, Bill had a deep love for car racing, often indulging in his hobby by attending events and sharing in the excitement of the track. He also enjoyed traveling, particularly to the Caribbean, where he could unwind on yachts or explore new destinations. A wine enthusiast, he took great pleasure in adding rare bottles to his collection and sharing them with loved ones over the years.
Bill's generosity and kindness knew no bounds. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, always ready to lend his support to his family and friends. His family meant the world to him, and he was known for the wisdom, guidance, and love he shared with all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Philomena McFaul; daughters Melanie Boe and her husband Erik, Joanna Gyulay and her fiance Matthew Benson, and Alexis McFaul-Roe and her husband Kevin Roe; his brother, Patrick McFaul; and six grandchildren, Emily, Madeleine, Tyler, Lily, Kevin, and Miles, along with his great-granddaughter, Amelia. Bill is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Patrick McFaul Jr. and his wife Lisa, Phillip McFaul and his wife Traci, and Kathleen McFaul.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester.
