William E. "Bill" McGowan

McGowan, William "Bill", 69, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on December 24th, 2025, after a 2 year illness. Born in Audubon, New Jersey and moved to Florida at the age of 13 and was a resident of Clearwater for 55 years. Bill is survived by Daughter, Janice Marie Bock, granddaughters Lily and Holly of New Port Richey and Daughter, Crystal Purcell of Cohasset, Ma.

Bill is survived by 5 siblings, brother Gerald McGowan, Jr., and sister in law Wanda of Warner Robins, Ga, sister Karen Cade and brother in law Jim of Morriston, Fl, sister Susan Harrison and brother in law Billy of New Port Richey, Fl, brother James McGowan and sister in law Traci of Virginia Beach, Va., and brother David McGowan and sister in law Kim of Lakeland, Fl. Bill has 16 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Bill was a very generous and happy go lucky person who was happiest with a guitar in hand and a beautiful sunset to play by.
