William Michael "Bill" McCain

William (Bill) Michael McCain, 75 of Vincent, AL, passed away on June 30, 2025, at Brookwood Hospital, after a brief illness. Bill was retired from Food World after 38 years. He continued working after retirement and was a faithful employee at Hobby Lobby, who loved his job. Bill gave his life to Christ and served as a deacon at Church at the Crossroad in Harpersville. He also served as a Chaplain with the Alabama Baptist Association. He was active in missions work in his community - always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Bill was an animal lover who eagerly cared for his four dogs, the chickens, and the horses on the farm. He served his country in the Alabama National Guard. Bill is survived by his wife - Diane; daughter - LaDonna (Greg) Hargett; stepdaughter - Linda (Kenny) Hawkins; beloved grandson - Chase Rohler; foster daughter - Alyse Wood; sister-in-law - Debra (Ollie) Daw; and host of family and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at Church at the Crossroad on
Saturday, July 5, with visitation at 10:30 am and the service at 11. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to Church at the Crossroad - 10671 Gallups Crossroads, Harpersville, AL 35078.
