William “Pete” Miller, born in New Orleans, LA, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the age of 83. Beloved life partner of 30 years to Sharon Churchill; cherished son of the late William and Rosemary Miller; devoted father of Lisa (Jimmy) Moore, Laura (Michael) Foster, and bonus children, Kyle and Nicole; loving grandfather of Finnley (Tommy Drier) Hope, Davis (Hannah) Moore, Cullen Moore, Peyton Moore, Baylee Hartman, Mallory Hartman, and bonus grandchildren, McKenzie, Reese, Leah, and Noah; treasured great-grandfather of Stella Hope and Edison Drier; dear brother of Kathy (the late Jim) Carey, Carolyn (the late Bob) Lammert, Dan Miller, and the late Glenn (Betsy) Miller; beloved uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Pete proudly and honorably served in the United States Army. He was an avid golfer, loved playing poker with friends, and was a skilled bowler who enjoyed being part of bowling leagues. Pete was active in his church and had a passion for collecting coins. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
