William H. Mitte, age 81 of Neillsville, WI. entered heaven on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at his home in Neillsville.
Bill was born in Neillsville to Harold and Julia (Dill) Mitte on July 11, 1944. He grew up in rural Neillsville, attending Neillsville School and graduating in 1962.
He was united in marriage to Bonnie Oldham on May 21, 1965 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Globe, WI and started their lives together in rural Neillsville.
He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, he enjoyed spending time with his family making maple syrup, making wood, farming, playing cards and watching his grandchildren play sports.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, three children: William "Bill" and Tara Mitte of Greenwood, Connie and David McDonald of Neillsville and Susie and Rodney Vetterkind of Merrillan, WI.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Nate, Myles and Brittanee, Maggie and Kody, Reese, Zachary and Shawna, Alexis, McKenzie, Parker, Tiffany and 3 great grandsons: Thatcher, Rhyland and Fredrick.
He is survived by his siblings: Lana and Wally Ormond, Lynette Mitte, Michael Mitte and Dale Mitte, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was welcomed home into heaven by his parents and many other beloved family members.
A private memorial service will be taking place at a later date.
